What this site collects, and what we do with it

This site collects nothing automatically. crossingops.com is a static informational page. There are no cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, advertising technology, forms, or accounts.

Two exceptions worth naming. The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google and Google receives your IP address as part of that — we never see it. And like any website, our host records standard technical log data such as IP address and browser type when a page is served.

If you email us, we receive what you send. We use it to reply and to discuss work, and we keep it as ordinary business correspondence. We do not sell personal information, share it for advertising, or use it for profiling. We share it only with the providers who run our email and hosting, and where the law requires.

Data we handle for clients

Separately from this website, we build and maintain software for business clients. Those systems can contain personal information about our clients' customers and employees. In that work we act as a service provider on the client's behalf, handling their data only as their written agreement with us permits — never for our own purposes.

If you're a homeowner or homebuyer and think your information sits in a system we built, contact the company you did business with. They control that data and can act on your request. Write to us and we'll pass it along where we can identify the right client.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold. We're small enough to fall below most state privacy law thresholds, but we'll honor these requests where we reasonably can — email hello@crossingops.com and we'll respond within 45 days. This site isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Terms

Using this site

This site is informational. Nothing on it is an offer, a quote, a guarantee of results, or professional advice. Descriptions of what we do are general and may not fit your situation.

Contacting us doesn't create an engagement. Emailing us, and any conversation that follows, doesn't by itself create a client relationship or obligate either of us. We take on work only under a separate written agreement signed by both parties — and where that agreement says something different from this page, the agreement governs. Please don't send confidential information before one is in place.

The content here is ours. The text, design, and the Crossing Operations name and mark belong to Crossing Operations LLC. Read it, print it, link to it — but please don't republish or build on it without asking. Ownership of work we create for clients is handled in the client agreement, not here.

Provided as-is. We offer this site without warranties of any kind and don't guarantee it will be accurate, current, or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it, and our total liability relating to this site is limited to one hundred dollars. Some jurisdictions don't permit these limits, so parts may not apply to you.

Washington law governs this page, and any dispute about it belongs in the state or federal courts of Snohomish County, Washington. We may update these terms; the current version and its date are always at the top.
